Brady 50,000 now on season ticket waiting list!

West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has spoken to Sky Sports Patrick Davison about the London Stadium ahead of the Hammers’ first premier league encounter at Stratford and revealed there are now 50,000 people on the waiting list for season tickets.
Speaking on football focus which is broadcast at 12.10pm today on BBC1 Brady tells Sinclair:
Asked whether West Ham want to replicate Man City when they won the league within ten years of moving to the former Commonwealth games stadium Brady answered: “It’s our ambition to win the league, that’s what we are here for. Everything we achieve is done by those players on the pitch. It’s so important to attract the best talent, to retain the best talent and to build the best talent because you can have the best stadium in the world but if you don’t have the best team you haven’t done your job properly”

I've been told on here for the last few years Macca that I'd be surprised at the reemergence of some sort of lost generation of proper West Ham supporters!

Very true. It's all very well about banging on about tradition and history but anyone with half a clue about West Ham (and you'd expect that someone paid to would have more than just a half) would know that Trev was an important and well-respected player for us and remains a very public advocate of West Ham in the media. It's all very well to have a bit of #BANTZ but you could tell it was coming from position of barely knowing who the fuck he was.
She needed a West Ham version of Gary from Veep to be whispering a briefing in her ear. Or to just take certain aspects of her job a bit more seriously.

What the hell does it matter? We are sold out with a full stadium & a large number of people on the waiting list. Surely that has to be good. If we won the PL by 5 points, some if you would complain that it wasn't at least 10 points!

A few weeks back I went into the West Ham ticket place at Stratford to enquire about season tickets & was told by the 'sales team' there was already 40000 on the waiting list and it was a tenner to go on it.
I didn't bother and for some reason it gave me the hump where all these cnuts had suddenly crawled out the woodwork plus the staff seemed a bit cnuty. Tbh wish I had now as the poxy list has gone up 10000 it seems.

Having 50,000 people on the waiting list for season tickets is a very different matter to having 50,000 people that want to buy a season ticket.
If be amazed if we could sell more than about an extra 10,000
